How the Record Has Changed Over Time?

Brendon McCullum became the first player to score a century in the IPL when he achieved this milestone for KKR during the inaugural match of IPL 2008. At that time, 50 to 60 ball centuries were fast. The scoring rate has steadily grown because players developed their T20 cricket skills and batting conditions became more favorable on cricket fields.

Conclusion

IPL history contains its fastest centuries as more than mere data entries. Each of them tells a story about a batter who went all out on a given day. The IPL produces its best moments from Gayle’s 2013 record to Sooryavanshi’s 2025 performance which shows why people love this cricket format. The all-time IPL record for fastest 100 shows that international players established most records but young Indian talent is beginning to change this pattern.
